2026 World Heritage Exhibition Andong Symbol
The overlapping curve shaped the texture of Hanji, where the Nakdong River wrapped around the Hahoe Village and turned it on.
Pine Teal represents the pine trees and sustainable nature of Andong, Scarlet symbolizes the heat of prelude and celebration, and Hanji Gold symbolizes the paper and wooden tablets of the archival heritage. The spirit of Changshin, which pulls the new out of the old, leads to a wave.
UNESCO World Heritage Emblem
The official emblem of the World Heritage Site was designed by Belgian artist Michel Oliff and adopted in 1978.
The middle rectangle represents the creation created by human technology and inspiration, and the circle surrounding it represents nature and the world. The intersection of a square and a circle as a line symbolizes the leaning of man and nature together and the promise of humanity to protect the World Heritage Site.
